Personality
hitoshi is a stoic and straightforward person with an innate ability to spark conversation with anyone despite holding a reserved and quiet attitude most of the time. he is shown to be rather clever, knowing just the right words to manipulate others into replying to his comments, allowing him to activate his quirk. he does not mind doing something underhanded to claim victory in a fight.
due to having his brainwashing quirk and perceived as evil throughout his life, hitoshi has been somewhat feared by those aware of his power and has been discriminated against solely because of the quirk he was born with.shinsou has a strong sense of purpose and a desire to make a positive impact on the world. he is known for having a deep understanding of human nature and a talent for reading people. shinsou is often reserved and introverted, preferring to keep to himself and observe others from a distance. he is also highly principled and does not hesitate to stand up for what he believes in.

shinsou was the only one of his siblings to get his moms quirk, while the rest had their dad's (or variations of it). his mom
hitoshi was always a quiet and reserved child, even from a very young age. he was not very social and spent most of his time alone reading books or tinkering with random objects. he always seemed to have a unique way of looking at the world around him, and he often kept to himself. his parents were concerned about his introverted nature, but they were also proud of his creativity and intelligence. he was always a very self-reliant child who was not comfortable sharing his feelings with others. when his quirk formed, shinsou accidentally brainwashed a girl in the middle of kindergarten class. It took the teacher walking over and attempting to move her away. The physical contact knocked her back into reality. After that, word quickly spread through the school and the other students decided to start leaving them out, shunning him essentially.
when Taki, his mother, had passed, Kyukichi (his father) and hitoshi's relationship went downhill very quickly, as Kyukichi felt that Hitoshi was going to be the same way as his mother. Hinato, Hitoshi's brother was the one who helped shinsou realize that yeah, people suck, but not everyone is that way, and got him to be closer to who he was by the time he'd made it to high school. shinsou got into a lot of trouble in middle school, and shockingly managed to not get expelled from his middle school for the things he'd done.
